What it means to be a caregiver

Caregivers provide essential, non-medical care for vulnerable individuals living independently in their home or residential community. A caregiver’s daily tasks vary depending on each client’s needs, but patience, compassion, attentiveness, and dependability are always at the forefront of their work. Preparing nutritious meals, bathing assistance, and companionship are just a few of the tasks that make a caregiver instrumental in creating a safe and engaging living environment for their clients.
